Premier League newcomers Fulham have, on Monday, unveiled the latest addition to the club’s first-team squad.
The player to have taken his talents to Craven Cottage? Andreas Pereira.
Recent weeks, of course, had seen midfielder Pereira hotly tipped for a move to west London, amid the ongoing efforts of those in a position of power at the club to build a squad capable of maintaining a spot in the top-flight of English football for the foreseeable future.
The 26-year-old has long been viewed as surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, fresh off something of a hit-and-miss loan spell in his home country of Brazil this past season.
In turn, this evening, it has come as little surprise to hear of Fulham making Pereira’s signing official, courtesy of a statement across the club’s website and social media platforms.
‘The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Andreas Pereira from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee,’ the Cottagers announced.
‘The versatile midfielder has agreed a four-year deal, tying him to Craven Cottage until the summer of 2026, with the Club holding an option to extend by a further 12 months.

Pereira’s arrival marks the 2nd fresh face added to Marco Silva’s midfield ranks ahead of the fast-approaching new campaign.
This comes after Fulham spent big on the high-profile signing of Sporting CP standout Joao Palhinha earlier this month, kicking into gear what looks set to prove a statement summer at Craven Cottage.
Official, confirmed. João Palhinha joins Fulham on a permanent deal from Sporting. €22m fee, add-ons included. 🚨⚪️⚫️ #FulhamFC
