The 32-year-old’s signing is a huge coup for Odisha considering that just last season he was playing for Elche in the LaLiga for whom he made 19 appearances in total. That he has also made two appearances for Catalonia just goes to show how highly rated he is, with the Spaniard sure to add bite and steel to the club’s midfield.
The Juggernauts will hope that his signing will help propel them to do better in the upcoming ISL season and improve on their disappointing seventh place finish in the league last time around.
