Erik ten Hag has all but confirmed that Anthony Martial will be staying at Manchester United this summer.
Manchester United took on Melbourne Victory in a pre-season friendly on Friday. The Red Devils headed into the game looking to make it two wins from two on their pre-season tour.
And, despite going 1-0 down after five minutes, the Manchester outfit would indeed pick up a win vs Melbourne.
Among the goalscorer on Friday was Anthony Martial, who has now scored two in two during pre-season.

As a result, Manchester United fans have completely forgotten how bad the Frenchman was for them last time he was used as a striker on a regular basis, and are now seemingly eager to see him remain at Old Trafford despite his future looking bleaks just a few weeks back.
And United fans will seemingly get their wish as Ten Hag, speaking post-Melbourne, appears to have ended speculation over a summer move for Martial:
“I’m sure he can come back even better,” said Ten Hag. “I think when he has the right focus, right motivation + he works hard every day he will have production because he is a good player. It’s up to him.”
Ten Hag seems to end any suggestion of Martial leaving: “I’m sure he can come back even better. I think when he has the right focus, right motivation + he works hard every day he will have production because he is a good player. It’s up to him.” #MUFC
