A fresh update on the future of Frenkie de Jong has been provided on Saturday.
For the entirety of the 2022 summer transfer window, Manchester United have been linked with Frenkie de Jong.
However, the Red Devils do not appear to be close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder.
Now, on Saturday, FC Barcelona have released their squad for their pre-season tour of the US, which includes Frenkie de Jong:

This suggests that De Jong is not close to joining United as he would have been left out of the squad if that was the case.
Elsewhere, several other Barca players did not make the squad as the club want them sold as soon as possible:

Fabrizio Romano also provided an update on De Jong, confirming there is no agreement on the player’s side and he has no intention of leaving Catalunya:
