A fresh insight into Robert Lewandowski’s imminent move to La Liga giants Barcelona has been provided on Saturday afternoon.
Links between Polish international Lewandowski and Barca have of course been rampant for several months now.
This comes with the 33-year-old having made public his desire to seek pastures new this summer, on the back of a prolific stint in Germany with Bayern Munich.
Friday, in turn, saw a breakthrough finally reached in negotiations between the two clubs, amid widespread confirmation that a deal worth a fee in the region of €50 million had been struck.

When exactly, then, can the Blaugrana faithful expect to see the latest addition to Xavi Hernandez’s squad link up with his new teammates?
Well, an insight into precisely that has been provided on Saturday.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert David Ornstein, who has revealed that ‘Lewa’ is primed to fly out to Miami on Sunday, to join Barca’s pre-season tour of the United States.
Ornstein also points towards a fee of €45 million, plus a further 5 million in add-ons as having been agreed with Bayern, with the hitman, despite being 33, set to put pen to paper on a contract at the Camp Nou through the summer of 2026.
