Arsenal look to be eyeing a second Manchester City star this summer.
The Gunners have already secured the services of Gabriel Jesus, who is set to be their main striker in the forthcoming campaign.
Now though, it appears Arsenal are eyeing a move for Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Zinchenko has been on Manchester City’s books since back in 2016, but has only really become a regular feature for the Sky Blues in the last few campaigns.
He would feature 28 times for Manchester City during 2021/22, providing five assists along the way as City clinched yet another Premier League title.

However, as soon as the summer transfer window opened, the future of the full-back, who is under contract at the Etihad until 2024, was called into question.
Arsenal were the first side to be linked with Zinchenko, but fellow Premier League outfit West Ham have also been credited with an interest in the Ukrainian since.
Now though, Arsenal look to have won the race, with Fabrizio Romano explaining why Arteta is such a big fan of the defender:
“Arsenal are working on Oleksandr Zinchenko deal as they consider him a versatile player – that’s why they wanted Lisandro Martinez too and were still in the race until late on,” Romano wrote.
“Zinchenko is another important talent, however. The Ukraine international can play as left back, midfielder and help the team in many different ways. I’m not yet sure what his main role will be at the Emirates Stadium, but Mikel Arteta is big fan, the relationship is very good since he was at Man City. Zinchenko knows Arteta well and this is a decisive factor for the deal.
“The agreement between the clubs is almost complete for £30m, waiting to settle the personal terms.”
