Juventus tipped to pip Inter to Serie A MVP following De Ligt sale

Juventus are growing increasingly confident of luring Torino defender Gleison Bremer to Turin rather than seeing him move to Inter this summer, according to reports coming out of Italy.

Bremer is certain to move this summer, and a move to Inter Milan to replace the PSG bound Milan Skriniar seemed the most likely option for much of the transfer window.

However, the sale of Matthijs de Ligt by Juventus has changed things, with the Old Lady now in the market for a new centre-back to fill the gaps left by Giorgio Chiellini and the Dutchman.

And they have fixed their sights on Bremer, who was voted MVP for the most recent Serie A season, with growing optimism from their camp that they will be able to beat Inter to his signature.

Gabriel off the cards

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Gabriel was another player that Juve were thought to be eyeing up a move for this summer, but they have been shut-down by the defender in that regard.

However, reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that the Brazilian centre-back has said no to a move to Turin this summer, with the 24 year old thought to be happy in London at present.

Other options for Juve include Villareal defender Pau Torres, who is also subject to Premier League interest.
