Happy to be playing a part for United during our Tour 2022, van de Beek will be hoping to use his appearances as a springboard come the start of the 2022/23 campaign.
But with a final pre-season bout in Australia still to come against Aston Villa this weekend, the midfielder has praised the travelling support Down Under.
“I have to say we played two games here and you could see how many fans there were in the stadium – there were so many Man United fans,” added Donny.
“It was a very nice experience for me and everyone in the team.
“I want to say thank you, I enjoyed it a lot. It was a really good experience so, again, thank you.”
