Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, like all Barcelona fans, is delighted with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski at the Catalan club.
The Gabonese and the Pole were previously teammates at Borussia Dortmund in the 2013/14 season where they scored 44 goals between them.
Now, the former Arsenal player is convinced that he and Lewandowski will be even better together at Barcelona.
“We are more experienced now and we can do better than in the past. I am sure we will both do our best to beat the numbers we achieved at Dortmund,” he told ESPN.
Aubameyang is convinced that the former Bayern Munich man will allow Barcelona to aspire to greater heights.
“[Barcelona] will be able to compete to win titles with all the great strikers they have,” he said.
“His quality is really crazy and I always enjoy playing with him.”
For now, though, he is focused on the present and that is the game against Real Madrid, an opponent he is particularly fond of having netted seven goals in seven games.
